Pinker Pinker has become only the sixth mare to win the 2011 Tatts Cox Plate. Craig Williams' fairy tale spring continued and Greg Eurell celebrated his biggest win as a trainer when Pinker Pinker outclassed Australasia's top weight-for-age performers in the $3 million Tatts Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.

The classy four-year-old put her name alongside some of Australian racing's all-time great females when she defeated male contemporaries Jimmy Choux and Rekindled Interest in the 2040m Group 1.

Coming off a last start win in the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes (1400m), Pinker Pinker went into the Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m) as favourite despite talking on older mares for the first time.

Pinker Pinker (pictured right) scored impressively in the 1100-metre Voodoo Plate at Flemington today. She has taken yet another step towards her main goal the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield on October 13. Trainer Greg Eurell said " I thought they were going to be a little sharp for her today and we were looking forward to her stepping up over the 1400 metres.  Her pet distance I believe from what she’s shown at home is a mile".

Pinker Pinker raced away for a three length victory at Sandown Hillside today.  Settling at the rear of the field, she exploded to the front inside the furlong for Chris Symons at just her second outing.  She was purchased by Greg Eurell on behalf of our existing clients David and Carol Kirby.  Congratulations to you both and all the best with this exciting filly!
